The Discover Adapt 30 is a wireless headset designed for use with desk phones and softphones, offering a range of features for optimal communication and comfort.

Function Description:

The Discover Adapt 30 is a DECT wireless headset system that provides hands-free communication. It consists of a base unit, a headset (available in monaural or binaural styles), a microphone boom arm, a USB cartridge module, and various connection cables. The system allows users to answer and end calls, adjust volume, and mute the microphone directly from the headset. It supports connectivity to desk phones via RJ11 telephone cords and to computers/softphones via a USB cartridge module. An optional Bluetooth module can be inserted into the base unit to connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled smartphones, allowing for wireless conversations from desk phones, softphones, and mobile devices. The headset is designed for ease of use and setup, with an auto-setup feature that configures optimal call quality for the connected phone. It also supports conference calls with up to five headsets paired to a single base unit, although only the first person to answer the call will be able to interact with the caller.

Usage Features:

• User-Changeable Headband: Patented design allows switching from single speaker (monaural) to dual speaker (binaural) wearing style.
• Universal Base Unit: Patented base unit with a slot-in cartridge drawer to accept USB or Bluetooth modules.
• Microphone Boom Arm: Adjustable through 270° and flexible to position for optimal voice pickup (approximately 30mm from the mouth).
• Volume Control: Volume switch on the microphone boom arm to increase/decrease speaker volume and activate microphone mute.
• Hook On/Off Button: On the headset for answering/ending calls.
• In-use / Busy Light Indicator: Located on the speaker housing and headset.
