Cleaning the cylinder area
After prolonged use, dirt and sawdust can build up on the cylin-
derandcausetheenginetooverheat.Thecylinderncleaner
helpsremovedepositsbetweenthecylindernsandbetween
the cylinder and the mounting plate.
Remove cover.
Remove the fan housing.
CAUTION: To prevent eye injury, always wear eye protection
whencleaningthelterwithcompressedair!
The entire area (14) can now be brushed clean or cleaned with
compressed air.
Withthecyinderncleaner,clean out theareabetweenthe
cylindernsandbetweenthecylinderandthemountingplate.
Do not use force. Be careful not to damage the short-circuit
wire and the ignition wire.

Replacing the suction head
The felt lter (15) of the suction head can become clogged.
It is recommended to replace the suction head once every
three months in order to ensure unimpeded fuel ow to the
carburetor.
To remove the suction head for replacement, pull it out through
thetank ller neckusing a pieceof wire bent at oneend to
form a hook.
