Cleaning the cylinder area
After prolonged use, dirt and sawdust can build up on the cylin-
derandcausetheenginetooverheat.Thecylinderncleaner
helpsremovedepositsbetweenthecylindernsandbetween
the cylinder and the mounting plate.
Remove cover.
Remove the fan housing.
CAUTION: To prevent eye injury, always wear eye protection
whencleaningthelterwithcompressedair!
The entire area (14) can now be brushed clean or cleaned with
compressed air.
Withthecyinderncleaner,clean out theareabetweenthe
cylindernsandbetweenthecylinderandthemountingplate.
Do not use force. Be careful not to damage the short-circuit
wire and the ignition wire.

Replacing the suction head
The felt lter (15) of the suction head can become clogged.
It is recommended to replace the suction head once every
three months in order to ensure unimpeded fuel ow to the
carburetor.
To remove the suction head for replacement, pull it out through
thetank ller neckusing a pieceof wire bent at oneend to
form a hook.
