Beware, batteries may become discharged
Even when using an external power supply (e.g. power
supply unit), the batteries may self-discharge slightly.
It takes about two years for the batteries to become flat.
Charging the NiCd battery pack
The ambient temperature must be between 0 and 35 °C
when charging the batteries!
When using an external power supply:
1 The green LED »DC power available« lights up
regardless of whether the ventilator is switched on or
off. The internal NiCd battery pack is being charged.
Display when ventilator is switched off:
It takes about eight hours to recharge a completely
flat NiCd battery pack.
Display when ventilator is switched off:
The ventilator can operate for approx. 6 hours at room
temperature when the internal NiCd batteries are fully
charged.
The following display appears at the end of the
electrical operation time:
Operation will continue for about 10 minutes.
The electrical operation time may be reduced by low
ambient temperatures and the condition of the
rechargeable batteries, see "Technical data", page 43.
