Testing
Checking the Constant Metering Valve
1 Connect pump connection and flow connection of the test
unit using the flow hose.
2 Set test unit so that it indicates the flow (display shows
"l/min").
3 Open the shut-off valve at the test unit.
4 Fit the open side of the sealing cap R 22 086 over the tap-
pet of the relief valve and hold it tightly until it is pressed into
place by the inflated breathing bag.
2 The constant metering value indicated at the test unit
should amount to 1.5 to 1.9 L/min

Checking the Minimum Valve
1 Set test unit so that it indicates the pressure.
2 Make sure that the shut-off valve at the test unit is open.
Remove flow hose from pump connection.
3 Connect suction side of the pump to the test unit.
Pump slowly.
The breating circuit is de-aereated.
4 Remove sealing cap R 22 086 from the relief valve.
Continue pumping until
5 the minmum valve in the breathing bag opens.
1 The opening pressure indicated at the test unit should
amount to 0.1 to 2.5 mbar.
1) Only applies with cylinder pressure
180 to 200 bar/2600 to 3000 psi.
