Test Setup
Checking the Response Threshold of the
Low-pressure Warning
1 Remove sealing cap and plug coupling into Female
test adapter of RZ50e.
2 Ensure bulb restrictor is closed (clockwise).
3 Pump slowly until alarm activates.
4 Watch the pressure gauge:
NOTE
Gauge is sensitive and will move very quickly.
The low-pressure warning should be activated
before gauge reads 1.4 mbar.
If OK:
acoustic alarm sounds.
red indicator flashes.
000 to 005
is indicated four times.
If display does not read properly press a magnet
on the rear of the Monitron basic unit and
conduct a master reset (A).
Checking the Inhalation Valve
1 Leave connections as in previous test.
2 Tightly pinch the exhalation hose with your hand.
3 Start pumping until at least 10 mbar is indicated on
the pressure gauge or over pressure alarm
sounds.
If the system does not reach 10 mbar:
Replace inhalation valve or valve disk.
NOTE
Please disregard the low pressure alarm sounding
during this time.
