Checking the Exhalation Valve
1. Reverse squeeze bulb.
2. Tightly pinch inhalation hose with hand.
3. Start pumping slowly until at least
-10 mbar is indicated on the pressure gauge.
If the system does not reach 10 mbar:
• Replace exhalation valve or valve disk.
NOTE
Please disregard the low pressure alarm sounding
during this time.
Checking the Drainage Valve &
Bypass Valve
1.Leave connections as in previous test. Reverse
squeeze bulb (ensure “positive” end is connected
to tubing). Close flow restrictor (clockwise) on
squeeze bulb. Clamp off tubing.
NOTE
During filling insert sealing cap over pressure relief
valve and hold until bag pressure holds cap in
position.
2.Open cylinder, depress bypass until bag is filled
and pressure gauge indicates 14 mbar.
3.Drainage valve must not open.
4.Close cylinder.
NOTE
Please disregard the low pressure alarm sounding
during this time.
