Sensor-Membrane in der Dicht-
platte wechseln
● Gerät ausschalten.
1 Sensorgitter vom Gerät abschrauben
(zwei Schrauben).
2 Mit Hilfe des Sensorgitters
3 die Dichtplatte abnehmen – Sensor-Mem-
branen nicht beschädigen!
● Sensor-Membrane abnehmen und neue
Sensor-Membrane (Bestell-Nr.
83 17 805 bzw. 83 18 607) aufkleben
und andrücken.
● Dichtplatte mit Sensor-Membrane auf-
schrauben, dabei richtigen Sitz der Dich-
tung kontrollieren.
1 Sensorgitter aufschrauben.
Nach erfolgtem Membranwechsel muss eine
Justierung aller Sensoren erfolgen.
Betrieb ohne Sensor-Membrane
— Für Spezialanwendungen (z. B. Messen
von Dämpfen).
Ein Betrieb ohne Sensor-Membrane ermög-
licht kürzere Ansprechzeiten des IR-Sensors.
VORSICHT
Die IP-Klasse ist bei Betrieb ohne Sensor-
Membrane eingeschränkt. Das Gerät ist
dann nur gegen Spritzwasser geschützt.

Replacing the sensor membrane
on sealing plate
● Switch off the instrument.
1 Remove the sensor grille from the
instrument (secured with two screws).
2 With the aid of the sensor grille.
3 Remove the sealing plate, taking care not
to damage the sensor membrane!
● Remove the old sensor membrane and fit
a new one (Order No. 83 17 805 or
83
18 607).
● Mount and secure the sealing plate with
sensor membrane, taking care that the
gasket is correctly positioned.
1 Mount and secure the sensor grille.
After a membrane has been changed, an
automatic adjustment of all sensors will
follow.
Operation without the sensor membrane
— This is possible for special applications
(such as measuring vapours).
Operation without the sensor membrane
permits faster reaction of the IR sensor.
CAUTION
The degree of protection (IP class) is redu-
ced when the instrument is operated wit-
hout the sensor membrane. The instrument
is then only splashproof.
