Replacement parts
The two rubber O-rings in the hose connector should be replaced annually to reduce malfunction.
Remove the old O-ring using the removal tool and insert a new O-ring in the groove (Fig 9).
Check the ow rate
With a lter and hose attached, turn on and wait for the self-test to complete. Cover the open end
of the breathing hose with your hand. After 5 seconds you should hear the unit start to run faster and
an alarm will be triggered. The panel will ash red indicating the air supply is blocked (Fig 8). If no
alarm is triggered, the fan speed remains unchanged, or the warning does not stop after removing
your hand - do not use and consult your supplier.
