7.3 Replacing the receiver
The receiver can be replaced as follows:
• Remove the glass pane; see section 6.8.
• Store the glass pane on a safe place.
• Remove the vermiculite tray in the rear of the combustion
chamber (see g. 4a).
• Unscrew the Allen screws at both sides of the combustion
chamber using the supplied Allen key (see g. 4b).
• Grab the combustion chamber at both sides and remove it
(see g. 4c).
• Remove the bottom strip (see g. 4a).
• Unscrew the self-tapping screws of the burner mounting
plate; see g. 4d.
• Lift the burner mounting plate plus accessories and remove
the receiver from the tray; see g. 4e.
• Replace the receiver and reconnect it (see section 7.1).
• Set the communication code (see section 7.2).
• Place the parts back in reverse order of the steps described
above.
!Caution - Properly connect the ue spigot to the
draft diverter when placing back the com-
bustion chamber; see g. 4f;
- When placing back, slide the bottom strip
in the U shaped notches to the left and
right; see g. 4g.
8. Final check
In order to check whether the appliance is working pro-
perly and safely, you must perform the following checks
before the appliance is used.
8.1 Gastightness
All connections must be gastight.
!Caution The gas control can be subjected to a
maximum pressure of 50 mbar.
• Check the connections for gastightness
8.2 Gas pressure / line-pressure
The burner pressure is set at the factory; see data plate. It
is not necessary to check the burner pressure.
The line-pressure in house installations
should be checked, as they can vary.
The gas control can be found in the tray below the burner.
Observe the following steps to check the line-pressure:
• Remove the glass pane; see section 6.8.
• Store the glass pane on a safe place.
• Remove the vermiculite tray in the rear of the combustion
chamber (see g. 4a).
• Unscrew the Allen screws at both sides of the combus-
tion chamber using the supplied Allen key (see g. 4b).
• Grab the combustion chamber at both sides and remove
it (see g. 4c).
• Remove the bottom strip (see g. 4a).
• Unscrew the self-tapping screws of the burner mounting
plate; see g. 4d.
• Lift the burner mounting plate plus accessories; see g. 4e.
• Check the line-pressure; see g. 13 for the measuring
nipple on the gas control.
• Contact the gas company if the line-pressure is not
correct.
• Place the parts back in reverse order of the steps descri-
bed above.
!Caution - Properly connect the ue spigot to the

bustion chamber; see g. 4f;
- When placing back, slide the bottom strip
in the U shaped notches to the left and
right; see g. 4g.
8.3 Ignition pilot and main burner
For igniting the pilot and main burners, see the
User Manual, chapter 4, section 4.2, Remote Control.
- Always wait 5 minutes after the pilot
burner has gone out, before you re-ignite
the appliance.
- Do not turn the pilot burner lower by
using the settings on the gas control.
8.3.1 Pilot burner
• Check the ignition of the pilot burner:
- the pilot burner should start at the rst attempt.
If the pilot burner does not ignite:
• check if the ignition sparks:
a) If not, check if the ignition cable is properly connected
between receiver and pilot burner; see section 7.1 for
accessibility.;
b) If it does, there is probably still air in the pipe.
• Bleed the pipe and/or
• Connect the ignition cable properly.
8.3.2 Main burner
The burner should ignite smoothly and
should not pop as a result of delayed
ignition.
• Check the function of the main burner from the standby
(pilot burner) position:
- after opening the gas valve, the main burner should burn
within a few seconds.
!Tip When the gas valve is opened, the motor
will run; this is audible.
1) If the main burner does not burn:
• Check if the space surrounding the pilot burner is free
from objects;
• Check the placement of the wood set.
