The DUNIFORM® DF5 is an electrically heated, semi-automatic sealing machine designed for sealing selected DUNIFORM® containers with film. It is a compact solution for food sealing, emphasizing ease of use and low maintenance.
Function Description:
The DUNIFORM® DF5 operates by automatically feeding sealing film and then sealing it onto containers placed in a cassette. The machine features a digital display that shows the counter for sealed containers and the current temperature. Users can choose between automatic and manual sealing modes. In automatic mode, the sealing process starts as soon as a container is placed in the cassette. In manual mode, the user initiates the sealing process by pressing the "Manual Start" button. After sealing, the cassette automatically ejects the sealed container. The machine is equipped with a safety cover that immediately stops operation and displays an error code (E07) if touched, moving the cassette to a standby position. An emergency stop button is also present for immediate shutdown in critical situations.

- Power Supply: 230V (50-60 Hz) grounded/earthed wall outlet.
- Recommended Sealing Temperature: 100-160 °C.
- Sealing Time: Adjustable from 0.5 to 2.0 seconds (005 to 020 units, where 1 unit = 0.1 seconds).
- Automatic Start Delay: Adjustable from 0.5 to 1.0 seconds (005 to 010 units, where 1 unit = 0.1 seconds). This setting is only applicable in automatic sealing mode.
- Film Rewinding Time: Adjustable from 0.0 to 3.5 seconds (000 to 035 units, where 1 unit = 0.1 seconds). If using film with sensor marks, this should be set to 000.
- Error Codes: The machine displays specific error codes (E00-E20, Err) for various malfunctions, including power supply issues, motor damage, sensor defects, and main board errors.
Usage Features:
- Installation: Place the DF5 on a stable, flat surface at a suitable working height. Mount the sealing film without wrinkles, ensuring it's positioned over the two spikes. If using film with black sensor marks, ensure it passes through the film sensor for correct automatic rewinding.
- Operation Modes:
- Automatic Mode: The sealing process begins automatically when a container is placed in the cassette.
- Manual Mode: The user presses the "Manual Start" button to initiate sealing after placing a container.
- Parameter Settings (accessed via SET button):
- P1 - Temperature: Adjust the sealing temperature (100-160 °C recommended).
- P2 - Counter Mode: Switch between "LOK" (locked, counter cannot be reset) and "OPN" (open, counter can be reset with "Reset Count" button).
- P3 - Sealing Time: Adjust the duration of the sealing process (0.5-2.0 seconds recommended).
- P4 - Auto Start Delay: Set the delay before automatic sealing begins in automatic mode (0.5-1.0 seconds recommended).
- P5 - Film Rewinding Time: Adjust the film rewinding duration. Set to 000 for sensor-marked film, or 015-035 for non-sensor-marked film.
- Display Indicators: The left screen shows the sealed container counter or parameter indicators (P1-P5). The right screen shows the temperature (°C), selected parameter value, or specific error codes.
- Container/Film Compatibility: For optimal results, use Duni containers and matching films.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Maintenance: Always switch off and unplug the machine before cleaning. Allow the machine to cool down. Clean with a wet cloth and ordinary detergent. Do not flush with water or use harsh detergents.
- Remove food remains from the heating plate using a soft sponge/brush.
- Clean the cassette and its insert with a soft sponge/brush.
- Keep sliders and all moving parts clean and lubricated for smooth movement.
- Clean film and cassette auto sensors with a soft cloth if needed.
- Other Maintenance and Repairs: The machine is designed for minimal maintenance. In case of malfunction, stop and unplug it immediately. Consult the troubleshooting section in the manual. If the problem persists or is not listed, contact a local dealer or technical service representative.
