3 MAINTENANCE
ALWAYS SWITCH OFF AND UNPLUG THE MACHINE
BEFORE CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE!
3.1 Regular maintenance
Let the machine cool down. Clean the machine with a wet cloth
using ordinary detergent.
Note! Do not flush with water or harsh detergents!
• Remove any food remains from the heating plate with a soft sponge/brush
and ordinary detergent.
• Clean the cassette and the insert with a soft sponge/brush.
• Keep the sliders in which the cassette is moving, as well as all other
moving parts, clean and lubricated. This will ensure a smooth movement
of the moving parts.
• If needed, clean the film and the cassette auto sensors, using only a soft
cloth.
3.2 Other maintenance and repairs
The machine is built for minimal maintenance and service. However, in case
of malfunction, stop the machine immediately and unplug it. Check the
troubleshooting section to see if the problem may be listed there. If not,
please contact your local dealer or technical service representative.
Note! Do not attempt to repair the machine yourself. It is not safe and it
may forfeit your warranty. If you need spare parts, please contact your local
dealer or technical service.

2.1 Operator safety
Study this entire manual before using the machine. Please note that all
electrical units, if used incorrectly, can cause fires, electrical shocks and/or
personal injury. Always follow these instructions carefully to minimize the
risk of accidents.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Do not touch any moving parts when the machine is operating. Also be
aware of the heater element and the cutting knife, placed inside the
machine.
In case of machine malfunction, please go through the Troubleshooting
section (see chapter 5). If the problem persists, please consult your local
technical service representative.
2.2 Machine safety
The machine is equipped with a safety cover. When the safety cover is
touched, the machine immediately stops operating its current operation
and error code E07 is displayed on the monitor. The cassette will move out
to its stand by position.
The machine is also equipped with an emergency button. If an emergency
situation is caused press the red emergency button to shut off the machine.
Twist the emergency button to the right to reset the machine.
