9. USING ART/COATED PAPER
• Art/coated paper are difficult to fold as their printed surfaces tend to stick together
easily and cause double feeding.
• When folding such a kind of paper, observe the following precautions before starting
folding operations.
1 Loosen the paper thoroughly.
2 Next arrange the paper neatly and
stack them on the paper feed table.
3 For other precautions, refer to
“Precautions for Stacking Paper” on
page 16.
