What to do if Dyna-Glo Smoker has flare-up?
    • J
      Jordan MooreJul 28, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Smoker experiences a flare-up, it could be due to several reasons. First, you might be cooking at excessive temperatures, so try reducing the flame level. Grease and residue build-up can also cause flare-ups, so ensure you clean the components regularly. If you're cooking meat with excessive fat, trim the fat before cooking. Finally, marinades with excessive oil can lead to flare-ups, so consider using a non-oil based marinade.

Why won't my Dyna-Glo Smoke Alarm burner light with the igniter?
    • M
      Mr. Ronnie ReyesAug 6, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Smoke Alarm won't light using the igniter, several issues could be the cause. The igniter electrode might be covered with grease or residue; if so, clean the igniter electrode. Also, the igniter electrode may have a loose or disconnected wire, so check the connection and reconnect any loose wires. If no spark is being generated, replace the AAA battery inside the igniter. Ensure that the LP cylinder isn't empty and that the cylinder valve is open. Finally, a vapor lock may have occurred at the coupling nut to the LP cylinder; in this case, turn off the knob and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut, reconnect it, and try again.

    • K
      Kimberly WilsonAug 11, 2025
A yellow, sooty flame on your Dyna-Glo Smoke Alarm can be caused by a few things. It could be due to excessive cooking temperature, so reduce the flame level. Another cause might be an obstruction of gas flow; check and clean the venturi tube and burner. Also, check if the ventilation or damper is closed; if so, adjust them accordingly.

    • S
      Sara AndersenAug 17, 2025
If the flame on your Dyna-Glo Smoke Alarm keeps going out, it could be due to a disconnected gas supply hose; make sure to reconnect it. High or gusting winds can also cause the flame to extinguish, so move the grill out of the windy area.

    • C
      Carrie CastroAug 22, 2025
