6.- TRANSCEIVER OPERATION:
TURN ON/OFF THE TRANSCEIVER:
1.- Turn the [VOL] knob clockwise to switch ON the transceiver, the transceiver emit a “beep”.
When the LCD displays frequency or channel, the transceiver is ON mode.
2.- Turn the [VOL] knob anti-clockwise to switch OFF the transceiver, the transceiver is OFF when
hear “click” from the knob.
VOLUME CONTROL:
When the transceiver is turned ON, turn the [VOL] knob clockwise to increase the volume, turn the
[VOL] anti-clockwise to reduce the volume. The LCD displays “VOL: XX” (“XX” stands for the
volume level, total 1-36 levels).
Note:
- Adjust the volume during communication to get suitable level.
RF POWER CONTROL:
When the transceiver is in transmitting mode, turn the [PWR] outer shaft knob to adjust power.
Turn it clockwise to increase power, anti-clockwise to reduce it.
RF GAIN CONTROL:
When the transceiver is in receiving mode, turn the [RFG] inner shaft knob to adjust RF gain. Turn
it clockwise to increase gain, anti-clockwise to reduce.
