10.- TROUBLESHOOTING:
PROBLEM CAUSE / POSSIBLE SOLUTION
-The transceiver will not
turn ON operated on the
[VOL] control.
- The supply voltage is not within the range suitable for the
operation of the transceiver.
- Check that you have not reversed the polarity of the power
supply cable.
- The power supply cable is disconnected.
- The fuse is blown. Check the installation, correct the problem
and replace the fuse with another of the same type as supplied with
the transceiver.
- The transceiver controls
do not operate.
- The key lock function is activated.
- There is no audio on the
speaker of the transceiver.
- The volume is too low.
- The “squelch” is set to too high a level.
- The [PTT] is pressed.
- You have connected an external speaker.
- The [PTT] is pressed but
no transmission.
- The microphone connector is not properly connected.
- The antenna is disconnected.
- The reception is of poor
quality.
- The “squelch” is set to too high a level.
- The antenna is disconnected.
- You or your partner is in a bad area of RF signal propagation
(Inside a tunnel, next to large metal structures, underground or
garages, in mountainous area, etc.).
Once you carried these confirmations, if it continues the transceiver problems, consult with
their salesperson or Technical Service.
