SQUELCH CONTROL:
When the transceiver is in standby mode, turn the [SQ] outer shaft knob clockwise to adjust squelch
level. The LCD displays “SQ: XX”. (“XX” stands for the squelch level, total 1-36 levels).
SSB CLARIFIER CONTROL:
When the transceiver is in transmitting or receiving mode, turn the [CLAR] inner shaft knob to
adjust “USB/LSB” TX or RX frequency. Turn it clockwise to increase frequency and anti-
clockwise to reduce.
CHANEL SELECTION:
When the transceiver is in channel mode, turn the [CH] knob to select desired channel. Turn
clockwise to increase, turn anti-clockwise to reduce.
Note:
- In channel display mode, each press the [CH] knob the channel will increase the frequency
by 10 times of channel step size.
FREQUENCY SELECTION:
1.- With the transceiver in frequency mode, press the [CH] knob, then you can adjust the frequency
for present channel.
2.- When the frequency is flashing, turn the [CH] knob clockwise to increase the frequency, turn
anti-clockwise to reduce it.
3.- When the frequency is flashing, press the [CH] knob again to adjust frequency step size.
7.- KEYPAD OPERATION:
● [FRQ/REP] key:
Short press the [FRQ] key to switch between frequency display mode and channel display mode.
“Offset” direction setup:
1.- Press and hold the [FRQ] key for 2 seconds to enter offset direction setup, LCD displays “REP”.
2.- Press the [CH] knob to select offset, turn the [CH] knob to select:
REPOF: Turn off the offset direction function.
REP+: Turn on the offset direction function. TX frequency will be greater than RX frequency.
REP-: Turn on offset direction function. RX frequency will be greater than TX frequency.
3.- Press the [CH] knob to store and exit.
● [BAND/TONE] key:
Band selection:
Short press the [BAND] key to choose band A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I.
Echo function:
1.- Press and hold the [BAND] key for 2 seconds to enter “ECHO” function. LCD displays
“ECHO”.
2.- Press and hold the [BAND] key 2 seconds to turn off “ECHO” function.
