10.5 Teletext
Teletext is a broadcast information system of the individual
broadcasters in which one can look up information like in a
newspaper. It also offers subtitles for viewers with poor hearing
or who do not speak the spoken language. (Cable connection,
satellite channels, etc.)
You get the following displayed
With this key you can call up or close the
teletext. A list is displayed with the entries
that can be called up. Each entry has a 3-
digit page number. If the programme you
have selected does not support teletext,
page 100 is displayed and the picture is
white (in this case, exit teletext and select
another programme).
Enter the number of the page you want to
view using the 0 to 9 or up/down keys.
Example: Page 120, enter 120. The number
is displayed at the top left, the page with the
number 120 is displayed. Repeat this
procedure to view another page. If the
counter does not call up the specified page
but continues counting, this page is not
supported. Select another number.
Direct call of
the articles
The colours of the buttons are also shown on
the screen. Use the 4 coloured buttons to
connect the pages or to call up related pages.
If the page is not available, the colours flash
briefly.
