20 Warranty conditions
Axdia International GmbH, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Straße 36-38, 47877 Willich,
Germany, hereinafter referred to as AXDIA, provides consumers with a limited
warranty for ODYS and DYON brand products, hereinafter referred to as the
Product, as set forth in the following warranty terms and conditions. By this
warranty, AXDIA warrants that the Products will be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for the stated warranty period from the date of
original purchase.
We provide warranty for our products according to the
following conditions:
1. Within 12 months from the date of purchase, we will repair damage or
defects to the product free of charge in accordance with the following
guarantee conditions. In the event of a defect or fault that is discovered
later than 12 months after the date of purchase, a manufacturing defect
must be proven for a guarantee repair.
2. The warranty does not cover rechargeable batteries, batteries, tyres, brake
pads and other parts that are considered consumer goods, easily breakable
parts such as glass or plastic, or defects due to normal wear and tear. A
warranty obligation is not triggered by minor deviations from the nominal
condition that are insignificant for the value and usability of the product, by
damage from chemical and electrochemical effects, from water and
generally from abnormal conditions. Damage caused by disregard of the
operating instructions or other improper handling, unauthorised intervention
in the installed system or the installation of additional software is also
excluded.
3. Furthermore, the warranty does not extend to the mere availability of
software updates, provided that the intended use as well as the data
security of the product are further guaranteed according to AXDIA's
professional and well-founded assessment.
4. The warranty service is provided in such a way that defective parts are
repaired free of charge or replaced by faultless parts at our discretion. AXDIA
reserves the right to exchange the product for a replacement of equal value if
the product sent in cannot be repaired within a reasonable time and cost
frame. Similarly, the product may be exchanged for another equivalent model.
On-site repairs cannot be requested. Replaced or exchanged parts become
our property.
