5. The warranty claim is void if repairs or interventions are carried out by
persons who are not authorised by us to do so, or if our products are fitted
with supplementary or accessory parts that are not matched to our
products.
6. Warranty services do not cause an extension of the warranty period, nor do
they start a new warranty period. The warranty period for installed spare
parts ends with the warranty period for the entire product.
7. Further and other claims, in particular those for compensation for damages
arising outside the product, are excluded - unless liability is mandatorily
ordered by law. We are therefore not liable for accidental, indirect or other
consequential damages of any kind, which lead to restrictions in use, loss
of data, loss of profit or operational downtime.
8. If the device has a built-in data memory, the customer is responsible for
backing up the data before returning it. AXDIA shall not be liable for data
loss of customer devices sent in. AXDIA reserves the right to restore the
factory settings of returned devices. Therefore, please make a note of your
personal settings if necessary.
9. This warranty does not affect your free statutory warranty claims in the
event of a detected defect and is subject to the applicable law of the
country in which the product was first purchased by the end customer.

Assertion of a warranty claim
1. To make use of the warranty service, please contact the AXDIA Service
Centre by e-mail or telephone (see below for contact details). You can also
use our service form on our website or on the back of the warranty
conditions.
2. The AXDIA Service Centre will try to diagnose and solve your problem. If
a warranty case is detected, you will receive an RMA number (Return
Material Authorization) and will be asked to send the product to AXDIA.
ATTENTION: AXDIA will only accept shipments that are
provided with an RMA number.
