16.1 Connecting the USB medium
This unit is equipped with USB ports for updating software and
playing media files.
If possible, connect USB media directly to the USB port of
the unit.
If this is not possible, please only use connection cables
that are no longer than 25 cm.
Follow the next steps to perform a software update via USB.
Press the MENU button, then go to Settings and select
Support. Now select System Upgrade and then Update with
USB Device.
Please make sure that a USB device is connected. When you
have connected your USB device, a window will appear after a
few seconds and press the MENU button. Alternatively, you can
press the INPUT or MEDIA button to access the files on the
USB.
Press the / buttons to select the file and press the OK
button to display the file and directory list or press the BACK
button to return to the media selection menu.
