2.2 Conditions for Installation
■ The AC drive shall be installed vertically with screws, and shall not
be installed upside down, obliquely or horizontally on a firm structure.
■When the AC drive is running, it will generate heat. To ensure that
the cooling air path is as shown in figure (b). There is a certain space in
the design, and the heat generated will be emitted upward; therefore, do
not install it under the heat-resistant equipment.
■When the AC drive is running, the temperature of the heat sink will
rise to nearly 90 ℃. Therefor, the mounting surface on the back of the AC
drive must be made of materials that can withstand higher temperature.

■When the AC drive is installed in the control panel, ventilation and
heat dissipation shall be considered to ensure that the ambient
temperature of the AC drive does not exceed the specification value. Do
not install the AC drive in the airtight box with poor ventilation and heat
dissipation.
■When installing multiple AC drives in the same control panel, it is
recommended to install them horizontally side by side in order to reduce
the thermal impact on each other. If it has to be installed up and down, the
partition board must be set to reduce the impact of heat generated at the
lower part on the upper part.
