Alarm History Menu
From the Alarm History menu, you can access the last 50 events,
notices, and alarms, arranged from latest to oldest.
To access troubleshooting information by using the Alarm History menu:
1. From the main menu, press the down (
B
) button to scroll to the
Alarm History menu, and press the OK button.
2. Press the down (
B
) button to scroll through the listed events,
notices, and alarms.
Serial Connection to a Computer
Through a serial connection, you can access the last 50 events, notices,
and alarms, arranged from latest to oldest.
To access the troubleshooting information from a computer:
1. Connect a serial cable to the UPS and to a computer.
2. On the computer, start a terminal emulation program, such as
HyperTerminal, to establish communication with the UPS. Set the
computer COM port to the following settings (see Figure 18):
S Bits per second: 2400
S Data bits: 8
S Parity: None
S Stop bits: 1
S Flow control: None
