THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGES:
"SAFETY LOOP OPEN": the safety loop is not closed, there is no connection between
the points 1-9 or 2-10 of connection C5 on the rear panel of the device. Press OK to
acknowledge the message
“VOLTAGE ERROR": The measurement voltage has not reached its final value. The
voltage generator charges the capacity of the sample under test. This message should
appear momentarily when switching to measuring mode. If this message persists the
measurement voltage requested cannot be supplied to the impedance measured.
Check in relation to the characteristics of the voltage generator (difference of 20% in rela-
tion to the set point)
"OVER HEATING": The device is equipped with a thermal protection system. In case of
extended use of the High-voltage generator on a short-circuit, the protection system will
be activated.
In this case the message will be displayed permanently on the LCD screen.
Switch off the device and let it cool down for 10 minutes prior to resuming use.
