PRECAUTIONS OF USE
IMPORTANT
In no circumstances must the measurement device switch or receive
external electrical supplies which it is does not control with its own
software. In these power supplies we include relay coils, chokes not fit-
ted with "free
-wheeling diodes" or non-discharged capacitors.
IMPORTANT
During measurement of the insulation on capacities > 100 µF, the instal-
lation of a discharge system able to guarantee the discharge of the ca-
pacity is mandatory.
-respect of this set point the measurement device may

To maintain the protection provided by the equipment, it is mandatory
that all of the electrical circuits at very low voltage which are connected
to it (USB output, Ethernet, CAN, etc.) have double or reinforced insula-
tion in
relation to any circuit operating at a dangerous voltage.
NOTE
During the use of the devices of the SEFELEC 5x range, the non
-respect
of the conditions of operation listed above (condition of the environ-
ment, mains supply and of use) release
EATON from any warranty and
any production following degradation of the device.
