ADJUSTMENT OF IMAX, IMIN AND DELTA I DETECTION THRESHOLDS
The device comprises two thresholds, IMAX and IMIN, used for the comparison with the value of
the measurement of current flowing in the equipment under test and to decide whether the result
of the test is PASS or FAIL.
The IMIN threshold sets the minimum limit of current flowing into the element tested to detect a
possible poor connection to the device.
The IMAX threshold defines the maximum value of current that can circulate in the element be-
ing tested. During a test with an AC voltage, the IMAX threshold may apply to the total current
(capacitive and resistive) or only to the real current (resistive).
Depending on the sensing mode chosen, an element tested is declared PASS if the current flow-
ing is less than the IMAX threshold and greater than the IMIN threshold; if not the element is
declared FAIL.
The IMIN and IMAX thresholds can be adjusted between
- 0.001 mA and 9.999 mA for a 50VA model
- 0.01 mA and 110 mA for a 500VA model
An IMIN threshold with a value of 0.000 mA disables the minimum current test.

The Delta I current cut-out value can be adjusted between:
- 0.1 mA/10 µs and 10 mA/10 µs in steps of 0.1 mA/10 µs for a 50VA model,
- 1 mA/10 µs at 100 mA/10 µs in steps of 1 mA/10 µs for a 500VA model,

NOTE
: Preferably start by adjusting the high threshold, as
IMAX threshold must always be greater than the IMIN
threshold, if not, and
depending on which threshold you adjust the error message High threshold <
Low threshold or Low threshold > High threshold is displayed.

NOTE
If an AC voltage has been
selected, choose the Total or Real cut-out cur-
. In the case of a DC voltage only the Total cut-out mode is
