URING12-24 RMU is a SF6 insulated ring main unit for the secondary distribution networks. URING12-24
can be supplied in a number of different congurations suitable for most switching applications in 12/24 kV
distribution network.
The URING12-24 RMU has a completely sealed system with a stainless steel tank containing all the live parts
and switching functions with SF6 gas. A sealed steel tank with constant atmospheric conditions ensures a
high level of reliability as well as personal safety and a virtually maintenance-free system. URING12-24 LLF
is 3 way unit in a single SF6 tank. Two incoming-outgoing unit with LBS and one transformer
protection unit with fuse combination. This is 3 way design. URING12-24 RMU can be designed up to 5 way
unit as extensible or non extensible system. Switching device in URING12-24 is three positioning (close-openearthed)
LBS. It has high number of switching operation and high short circuit withstand.
