4. Hold the bar nose up, and turn
the Tension Adjuster (A)
clockwise towards (+) until chain
contacts underside of the bar.
5. Tighten Bar/Clutch Cover Nut
with the bar nose held up and
under tension.
6. Pull the chain around the bar by
hand. Loosen the Tension
Adjuster if you feel tight spots.
Tighten Bar/Clutch Cover Nut to 15 - 20 N•m (153 to 204 kgf•cm,
133-177 in•lbf). DO NOT over-tighten nut. Damage to saw can result.
7. Assemble components in reverse order.
8. Keep chain properly tensioned at all times.
Note: All chains require frequent adjustments.
