Before you start
Throttle cable retainer assembly
This assembly is designed to provide a simple connection and
adjustment for the throttle cable (A).
Hook inner cable (B) terminal into joint (C), set the cable in
holder (D) and shut cover (E).
Connect lead (F) and lead (G).
The length of inner cable (B) can be adjusted for proper pulling
by opening cover (H) and resetting flange of throttle cable (A)
into a suitable groove on the left or right.
Make sure that connected ignition leads (I) and throttle cable
holder (J) are placed in the fan cover pocket (K) as shown.
Loop handle assembly
1. Assemble the front handle (A) and bracket (B) on the shaft
tube (C) loosely.
2. Adjust the location of the front handle to a convenient posi-
tion.
3. Tighten the screws (M5×30) (D) and nuts (E) securely. - One
of the 4 screws must be tighten together with the hanger (F)
as illustrated.
Shoulder strap
1. Suit the length of knapsack band to comfort.
2. As the strap is elastic and adjustable, it is preferable to con-
nect the strap (A) to the hangers (B) located on the front han-
dle (C) and the right knapsack band to maintain a fatigueless
and comfortable operation.
CAUTION
Install the handle to the engine side (H) from the arrow
mark (G).
