The dosing pump is equipped with a built-in thermal winding protection which
switches off the motor in the event of overheating. W
ith version E10, the
indicator lamp also lights up when temperature protection is triggered.
The following graphic charts display the connection plans for versions E00/E10/ – 1-phase
motor and E00 3-phase motor.
The connection diagrams can also be seen in the terminal box cover of the
motor
.
1. Open the terminal box on the EMP III pump.
2. Connect the power cable according to the terminal diagram.
3. Connect the mains power supply cable to the power grid.

CAUTION!
When connecting the 3-phase motor
, particular attention has to be paid to the
correct sense of rotation. The mains voltage has to correspond with the value
indicated on the nameplate.
