Always lay the suction pipe so that it ascends to the suction valve of the
metering pump.

1 Lifting vessel

For system designs with a suction tube length of more than about 3 m
and/or that must reach a suction height of > 2 m, an appropriate lifting
vessel must be installed to support the suction process.
The lifting vessel must be positioned above the pump.
Suction and discharge line connection
CAUTION!
When connecting the suction and pressure pipes, ensure that the O-rings
(Pos. 5) are fixed to the connectors so as to achieve the required seal.
To protect the dosing system, we strongly recommend the use of a suction
lance with empty detection device and dirt trap from our range of accessories!
The empty detection device switches off the pump if the level falls below a
certain container level.
