1) Measure the resistance across terminal pins 1 and 4 (the outside pins). Resistance
should be between 43 and 58 Ohm.
2) Measure the resistance across terminal pins 1 and 2. Resistance should be between 30
and 38 Ohms.
3) Measure the resistance across terminal pins 2 and 3. Resistance should be near 0 Ohms.
4) Measure the resistance across terminal pins 3 and 4. Resistance should be between 13
and 20 Ohms.
If these measurements are not within the given range, replace the valve.
➢ Modulating valve
Disconnect the White(8) and Black(7) wires from the valve terminal. Measure the resistance.
Resistance should be between 40 and 50 Ohm. If these measurements are not within the given range,
replace the valve.
