Maintenance
Safety information
Maintenance intervals
Maintenance work should be done on the ELD500 as required. This work will normally be
limited to exchanging the oil in the wet pump of the ELD500 WET and the built in air and oil
filters.
As a preventive measure it is recommended to check the wet pump once a month. Here note
should be taken of the oil level and the colour of the oil.
Only synthetic oil (L31001) must be used in the wet pump in the ELD500 WET.
The monthly interval for the check is just a nominal period. If the ELD500 WET is used heavily,
in particular in sniffer mode, then this check should be performed more frequently. The
rotary vane pump is located on the side of the mechanical section at the bottom of the leak
detector.
