7. After assembly, pump 2 strokes of EFA Special
Grease (50) into the 3 grease nipples (10, 13
and 21a) with the grease gun (50a) (Fig. 7).
During daily cleaning, inspect the parts of the dehid-
er for wear. Replacement of worn parts in good time
saves money!
Replacement is necessary when:
 Bearing race (3), blade bushing (6) or holder
pins on the connecting arms are worn or loose.
 Dehider blades (5) are blunt. Resharpen blunt
dehider blades on dehider blade grinder EFA 53.
 Ondular spring (7) has no spring force.
6.3 Extended cleaning (after approx.
100 operating hours)
First proceed as for daily cleaning.
1. Unscrew countersunk screws (22) with hexagon
key (48) from housing (1) and unscrew bearing
cover (21).

2. Remove bearing cover (21) complete with
eccentric shaft (12-20) from housing (1) (Fig.)
3. Clean all parts in white spirits, inspect for wear,
dry and oil.
Do not use force! (Risk of parts
being damaged)
