3. Remove the end cap from the hedge trimmer attachment and place it in a safe
place for later use. Align the arrow on the hedge trimmer shaft with the arrow on
the coupler (Fig. 6a) and push the hedge trimmer shaft into the coupler until you
hear a clear “click” sound. The coupler should be positioned all the way to the
RED LINE labeled on the shaft that the hedge trimmer shaft is properly mounted
into place (Fig. 6b).
4. Pull on the shaft of the hedge trimmer to verify that it is securely locked into the
coupler. If not, rotate the hedge trimmer shaft from side to side in the coupler until
it snaps into place.
5. Tighten the wing knob securely.
WARNING!
Be certain the wing knob is fully tightened before operating the tool
and check it periodically for tightness during use to avoid serious personal injury.
