Attaching the Hood
Attaching the hood can effectively shut out reflections from fluorescent lights and other external light
sources.
Checking Package Contents
Check that all the items on the right are in the
package.
Attaching the Hood
Attach the hood according to the following procedure.

Attach the left or right cover to the top cover.
Note
• Attach the top cover so that the edge with the visor is at the back. Attaching the cover back to
front will create a gap that will let light through.

Attach the left and right covers from the upper side onto the monitor. There are
projections on the sides of the monitor for attaching the hood. Hook the covers
firmly into the projections so that they will not move.
3
Slide the top cover to close the gap.
Tips
• When calibrating the monitor, the measurement device can be attached by simply opening and closing the top
cover.
