Why is there no audio from one or more channels on my Elan A2 Amplifier?

  Several factors can cause this issue: * A loose or bad speaker cable connection. Check the cable ends at the binding posts and speaker terminals. * A break or short in the speaker cable. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of each speaker cable. If a short or open is indicated, check the wiring for proper connections. * A defective speaker. Try swapping it with a known good speaker. * A defective RCA patch cable. Swap it with a known good patch cable. * The source isn't sending audio. Make sure the source is powered up and playing, and check any tape monitor settings on your A/V Receiver.
