Gas dryers; drive motor runs but dryer does not heat.
Note: Always check wiring to the components.
Clothes not drying in the
auto cycle.
Using the function tests, do the 3
o’clock test. (Referrer to pages 8)
Failed test.
Tested good.
Checked at the dryer
is level or slightly
tipped forward.
Are the sensor bars clean?
No.
Clean bars.
Yes.
Checked the connections at the
bars and the wiring between the
control and the bars.
Checks good.
Replaced electronic
control.
Checks bad.
Tighten the
connections or
replace the
wires.
