INSTALLATION TIPS
Please read rst the general tting information
which one can nd on page 4 of this booklet.
This appliance has been designed to hang
against a non combustible wall.
The plaster of the outside has to be resistant
to a high temperature. Use therefore the plaster
materials especially made for this, to prevent
discoloring. (min. 100 degrees C temperature
resistant.)
If the appliance is to be tted against a wall
with combustible cladding, the cladding must
be removed from the area covered above, and
around.
Installing gasre Sirius
The Sirius is delivered in a crate, which can be
opened by taking out the 4 screws at the sides
of the bottom of the crate. The top part of the
crate can now be lifted easily.
Lifting the re from the crate;
The re and wall brackett is placed between 2
wooden blocks. Always lift the re from the
crate with 2 persons.
Removing the front glass;(see pictures on
next page)
Remove the siite trims of re which are being
attached with magnets;
Remove the top frame by sliding it of gently.
Remove the metal bottom plate of the re after
taking out the two bottomscrews. Leave the
bottom plate hanging loose.
Then remove the 3 screws to remove the
bottom frame of the re. Remove the bottom by
sliding it of.
Loosen the site glass clamps which keep the
glass xed to the chassis. Make sure that there
is enough room at the front now for removing
the front glass. Please make sure that site glass
remains attached to the re.
The front glass can being removed by undoing
the bolds of the metal bracket at the bottom.
Now remove the bottom clamp ,and gently slide
the glass out of the top clamp.
We advise to use a suction lifter.
