REMOVING AND CLEANING THE GLASS
Step 1.
Remove all of the trim pieces (magnetically attached) from the
replace. The Sky T has two glass panels, therefore, twice the
number of trim pieces. There is no top trim on either replace.
The trim pieces are held rmly in place with magnets and will
simply lift out. The bottom (horizontal) trim pieces are at the
lower edge of the glass panels and the side (vertical pieces) are
where the glass meets the wall.
Step 2.
The glass panel is held in place by gasketed glass clamps on
the left and right ends and a rope gasket along the top edge.
Remove the retaining bolt(s) holding the glass clamps and then
remove the clamps. Gently pull the rope gasket from its channel.
Step 3.
Securely attach two vacuum glass clamps to the glass
approximately ⁄ the way up from the bottom end and lift the
glass up into the clearance notch.
With the glass panel raised into the upper rail, swing the lower
edge of the glass panel out towards the room and gently lower
the glass towards the oor until it clears the replace.
Step 4.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the other glass panel, if present.
PROPERLY PLACE, CLAMP AND SEAL THE GLASS PANEL(S)
BEFORE LIGHTING THE FIRE!
