1. Upper Looper
(Yellow Threading Route)
If the upper looper thread breaks while
sewing, hand turn the flywheel to clear the
lower looper thread off the upper looper.
Rethread upper looper and hand turn the
flywheel to form a stitch.
2. Lower Looper
(Green Threading Route)
If the lower looper thread breaks while
sewing, cut and remove needle threads
from needle eyes. Rethread lower looper.
Rethread needle eyes. Needles must be
threaded after the lower looper.
Lower Looper Automatic Threader
Turn the flywheel until the lower looper is
correctly positioned. See illustration.
Thread the looper eye (A) from front to
back. Position thread into V cutout (B)
on threader. Firmly hold thread tail with
left hand and pull threader lever ( )
up into place (D).
