5.9.5 If the compressor has failed
The vast majority of all compressor failures are due to a problem with the system, that causes the
compressor to fail. If you don’t nd this problem with the system and correct it, a replacement compressor
would also soon fail.
Some of the most common contributors to compressor failure are:
` Dirty Evaporator or Condenser
` Loose Evaporator Fan Belts
` Improper Refrigerant Charge
