FM-2 Indexing Module
The FM-2 is a compact and rugged indexing module that attaches to the front of the E Series
drive. It enables you to initiate up to 16 different indexes, jogging and a single home routine.
It also provides eight digital input lines and four digital output lines in addition to the four
input and three output lines available on the E Series drive. The FM-2 is setup using
EMERSON Motion Control’s PowerTools-FM software. PowerTools-FM is an easy-to-use
Microsoft® Windows®-based setup and diagnostics tool.

FM-3 Programming Module
The FM-3 is a compact and rugged programming module that attaches to the front of the E
Series drive. It provides eight digital input lines and four digital output lines in addition to the
four input and three output lines available on the E Series drive. The FM-3 is setup using
EMERSON Motion Control’s PowerTools FM-3 software. PowerTools FM-3 is an easy-to-
use Microsoft® Windows®-based setup and diagnostics tool.
