How to fix Emerson Liebert XDP Air Conditioner chilled water valve that is not working?
    • W
      Whitney KelleyAug 19, 2025
If the chilled water valve of your Emerson Air Conditioner isn't working, consider these possibilities: * If the motor operates but the valve won't open, check the linkage for adjustment and ensure it's tight on the valve. * Check for 24 VAC power to the motor between P52-1 and P52-4. * Check for a signal from the control, verifying 24 VAC at P22-1 (close) or P22-3 (open). * If the motor isn't operating, unplug P22 from the board. Jumper P22-5 to P52-4 for grounding, then jumper P22-1 to P52-1 to drive close. Remove the jumper to stop closing, and then jumper P22-3 to P52-1 to drive open. If the motor still doesn't work, replace it.

Why is my Emerson Air Conditioner making the room too warm?
    • N
      Nicole EricksonAug 30, 2025
If the room is getting too warm, there might be several reasons. First, check if the Emerson Air Conditioner is turned on at the user interface; if it's off, turn it on using the I/O button. Another reason could be a high dew point; check the temperature and relative humidity of the room, and lower the RH setpoint if needed, ideally setting it to 50% or lower at a normal room temperature of 68°F (20°C). Ensure that the Emerson XD cooling modules are also on. Additionally, verify that the minimum room temperature setpoint isn't set too high in the User Setpoints menu. Finally, make sure the temperature/humidity sensors are correctly placed on the return air side of the primary air mover and not near unsealed doors or windows.

Why is the Emerson Liebert XDP Air Conditioner pump so noisy?
    • A
      Andrea BradshawSep 1, 2025
If the Emerson Air Conditioner pump is noisy, the following could be the reason: * Cavitation due to vapor in the pump. Check for adequate charge in the system and refer to the User's Manual. 5.1 - Checklist for Liebert XDP Startup. * Worn motor bearings. If this is the case, replace the pump. * The pump is rotating in reverse. Refer to Table 13 for correct wiring.
