SENTO, SENTO PRO Carrycot+, ERGO+, FLAT+ v. 2.0
4) Additional ventilation
(Carrycot+)
The fabric sections at the head end of
the carrycot can be opened for additional
ventilation. Make sure that there is no
child in the carrycot when this step is
carried out. All steps must be carried
out correctly so as not to jeopardise the
child’s safety. If you are unsure, ask your
Emmaljunga partner.
4.1 Pull up both zips of the outer fabric as
shown in the picture.
4.2 Lift up the rear part of the canopy,
which is attached to the frame of the
carrycot with Velcro.
4.3 Fold/roll the outer fabric section
around the exposed frame of the
carrycot.
4.4 Fasten the outer canopy fabric with
the black Velcro fastener of the
canopy fabric and make sure that the
canopy is back in its normal position
over the edge of the carrycot frame.
4.5 Remove the mattress from the bottom
of the carrycot and pull down the zips
on the inner fabric (the canopy fabric
is not shown in the picture for a better
demonstration).
4.6 Make sure that the plastic backrest is
in its folded position and level with
the bottom of the carrycot.
4.7 Fold the detached part of the inner
fabric over the at backrest.
4.8 Replace the mattress and check that
all fabric parts are correctly attached
before placing the child in the
carrycot.
To close the fabric parts and use the
pushchair without additional ventilation,
carry out the above steps in reverse order.
WARNING
Never leave the child unattended!
The reclining section/carrycot is not
designed to be used as a bed.
Have the child supervised by an adult
even if it has fallen asleep in the carrycot.
5) Using the backrest (Carrycot+)
To operate the backrest safely, there must
be no child in the carrycot.
5.1 Lift the mattress and pull the black
plastic backrest upwards from its at
position.
5.2 Attach the metal support bracket to
the metal support bar of the carrycot
5.3 To reduce the angle of inclination of
the backrest, open the press studs of
the black strap.
5.4 Place the support bar of the backrest
on the strap and close the press studs.
5.5 Close the push button again.
WARNING
Make sure that the push button is
always closed and located under the
mattress.
Never use the carrycot+ if the press
stud is damaged or missing.
Never carry the carrycot with a child
in it when the backrest is in a raised
position.
6 Extendable sun protection
(Carrycot+)
The carrycot+ is equipped with an
extendable sunshade under the front part
of the canopy.
6.1 Carefully open the zip in the front part
of the canopy. Unroll the black UV
protection.
6.2 Pull it over the foot end of the
reclining section and fasten it with 2
press studs underneath.
6.3 When the UV protection is not in use,
roll it up again and stow it back in the
front part of the canopy.
It is possible to use the sunshade at the
same time as the insect screen:
Attach the insect screen to the inside
of the soft top and then use the sun
protection over it as described above.
