2 Product Specifications
2.1 Function
The HART Loop Converter is an isolated barrier suitable for intrinsically safe applications.
The device supplies field devices and can be connected in parallel to existing HART circuits.
The device analyzes up to four HART variables (PV, SV, TV, QV). Three HART variables can
be transformed into varying current signals from these four HART variables. These signals
are used to display the values via the analog inputs of the process control system.
The device is easily configured by the use of keypad.
In addition to the current outputs, the device has two changeover contacts. These
changeover contacts can be programmed so that the changeover contacts function as trip
values for the HART variables.
