LN = Length of probe R = Reference point of the measurement
D = Distance E = Empty calibration (= Zero point)
L = Level F = Full calibration (= span)
If for rope probes the DC value is less than 7, then measurement is not possible in the
area of the straining weight. In these cases, the maximum allowed value for the empty
calibration E is LN - 250 mm (LN - 10 in).
