3.4.1 Pulse output connection
The meter features TM1 pulse output. The output may be used (programmed) as the main transmitting output
device of active or reactive energy, with parameters according to IEC 62052-11:2003, IEC 62053-21:2003 and IEC
62053-23:2003. The output is implemented on transistors with an “open” collector and is intended for switching
DC voltage. Nominal supply voltage (10±2) V, maximum allowable value is 24 V.
The value of the switched nominal current is (10±1) mA, the maximum allowable value is 30 mA. By default,
TM1 generates pulses proportional to the imported and exported active energies (Ai + Ae). The output can be
reconfigured to generate pulses proportional to the individual type of measured energy or as a relay (for details, see
САНТ.411152.068-05.1 РП).
To ensure operation of the pulse output, it is necessary to supply DC voltage according to the diagram shown in

Figure 3.2 – Connection diagram of the meter’s pulse outputs. The value of electrical resistance R in the load circuit
of the pulse output is determined by the following formula:
where U – is the output supply voltage, V.
