9Installation instructions for professionals
BEFORE INSTALLATION
Ensure that the ventilation system has been designed
and realised in accordance with the building
regulations.
We recommend the unit to be installed in a technical
facility room.
Do not install the unit in a room where the
temperature and humidity are high. Under certain
conditions, condensation may occur on the outer
surface of the unit.
Take the noise level of the unit into account when
choosing the installation location.
Install the unit on a soundproof wall, if possible.
Do not install the ventilation unit directly outside
the bedroom, as the unit is never completely silent,
although it is quiet.
Install an insulation plate behind the ventilation unit,
or try to prevent the sound from being conducted to
the structure by other means. Using soft foam sheets
is recommended (not included in the delivery).
Ensure that connecting the condensation water
discharge pipe and water trap is possible. Remember
to take the space required by the condensation water
connection into account.
Install the unit in a warm room (over +5°C).
Ensure that at least 500 mm of free space is left in
front of and at least 80 mm of free space is left below
the unit for maintenance purposes.
