REFRIGERATION
SeasonalMaintenance
Checkoperatingtemperatureandpressures.
Theexternalsurfaceoffinnedcoilscanbecleanedusingalowpressurewatersprayandabrush.
Coilfinsareeasilydamaged.Donotusehighpressuresteamorwatertocleancoils;itwill
permanentlydamagethecoil.Whenusingcleaningadditivesorsolutionstheymustbecompatible
withthecoilmaterialsorcoatings.Useafincombtostraightenanydamagedorbentfins.
Inspectrefrigerantlinesforevidenceofoilleaks.
Checkcondenserfansandtightensetscrews.
NOTE:Airflowisrestrictedbydirtycoils,slippingfanbeltsetc.Thiswillreducecapacity.
PressureControls
Encapsulatedpressurecontrolshavefixedsettingsandarenotadjustable.Mostpressurecontrolshave
thesetpointmarkeddirectlyonthecontrol.Thefollowingtableshowstypicalcutinandcutoutsetpoint
usingsaturatedtemperature;refertorefrigerantspecificsaturatedtemperature/pressuretablesto
converttopressure.
