14 Using the Printer
User Button
Determine whether the printer is ready, busy printing, or not available. The printer’s USER button
displays a color that indicates the system status.
 Suspend the printer. Press the USER button when the light is solid green.
 Print a test card with IP address. Press and hold the USER button for 2 seconds or more when
the light is solid green.
 Clear a driver message. Press the USER button once when the light is flshing red. The job
restarts.
 Clear all driver messages. Press the USER button for 2 seconds or more when the light is
flashing red.
 Clear all cards currently printing. Press and hold the USER button for 2 seconds or more when
the light is flashing green. (Make sure that this action is allowed in your card production
system.)
Solid Blue The printer is idle, or suspended.
Flashing Blue The printer is initializing or heating.
Solid Green The printer is ready.
Flashing Green The printer is busy.
Flashing Red The printer has an error.
